Psychosocial Recovery Coaching‍ ‍

QCCQ psychosocial recovery coaches (PRC) provide support to increase a persons:

independence • social participation • economic participation

QCCQ psychosocial recovery coaches work collaboratively with people to:

  • Connect to services in the community that can help with psychosocial recovery.

  • Build their personal skills and confidence so they can advocate for themselves by making healthy choices and decisions.

  • Navigate their NDIS plans so they can use them effectively to achieve their goals.

  • Improve their daily living by building self care plans to carry out everyday tasks, increase independence, and be more involved in their self recovery.

QCCQ Psychosocial recovery coaches bring a blend of qualifications, professional work experience, and personal lived experience to their work when supporting people living with a psychosocial disability.

Our Support workers bridge the gap between restriction and freedom, helping people with disabilities live life on their own terms.

Our support workers empower individuals to live independent, fulfilling lives. Instead of just doing tasks for someone, they work with them to build confidence, independance and life skills.

Key areas of support include:

Daily Living: Helping with personal care, cooking, and household tasks.

Community Access: Accompanying people to social events, work, or hobbies to prevent isolation.

Goal Setting: Supporting people with practical skills like budgeting, cooking, or using public transport.

Health & Well-being: Assisting with medical appointments and providing reliable companionship.
