At Quantum Community Care Qld, we provide psychosocial recovery coaching to help people regain control and make their own choices. Our psychosocial recovery coaches support personal growth, strength, and independence, helping individuals face challenges and reach real recovery goals.
QCCQ psychosocial recovery coaches work collaboratively with people to:
Build the skills and confidence to make good choices and healthy decisions and advocate for themselves.
Connect with different services in the community that can help with recovery.
Navigate NDIS plans and use them effectively to achieve a persons goals.
Improve daily living by building self care plans and routines to carry out everyday tasks, to increase independence, and be more involved in self recovery.
QCCQ Psychosocial recovery coaches bring a blend of qualifications, professional work experience, and personal lived experience to their work when supporting people living with a psychosocial disability.

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching Choice and Control
Psychosocial recovery coaching is a NDIS-funded support for individuals who live with a psychosocial disability. The role of the psychosocial recovery coach supports individuals to take more control of their life to build a meaningful and purposeful future, through a recovery orientated framework.

Supporting people to maintain their activities of daily living with;
Core Supports
Assistance with Daily Life: This is a support category under the Core Supports budget. It funds assistance or supervision for personal tasks of daily life to help you live as independently as possible at home and in the community. This can include support from a disability support worker for tasks such as:
Personal hygiene like showering, oral hygiene, and dressing.
Toileting and managing bladder and bowel functions.
Eating and drinking.
Assistance with household tasks like cleaning and yard maintenance, and meal preparation and delivery.
Mobility.
Supporting people to access the community with;
Core Supports
Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation: is a support category under the Core Supports budget. This category is intended to assist a participant with engaging in community, social, recreational, or economic activities. This can include support from a disability support worker for tasks such as:
Attend medical appointments.
Undertake grocery shopping.
Go on social outings of the persons choice.
Engage in recreational activities of the persons choice.
Group outings.
